Alexis Romero-Noriega, 18, a senior graduating from Springs’ Temecula Student Center, will be studying to be a pilot as she continues her education in Aviation Science this fall at California Baptist University (CBU) in Riverside.
She has been a Springs student for two years and has been assisted in her career choice by her classes, especially a Ground School and Aviation Seminar at FAPA taught by John Adair.
She said, “It’s been an amazing class, and I’ve learned a lot about flight techniques and everything else that has to do with aviation.”
Her Springs education also gave her the opportunity to benefit from an internship with the French Valley Airport. In the upcoming years, she hopes to earn her pilot’s license and go to work for an airline. Part of her education expense at CBU will be paid for through scholarships.
She continued, “I’m grateful to Springs for the help they’ve given me in advancing in my career choice. I’ve had excellent teachers and counselors who have helped me a lot.”
