Troy Moreno, 8, a 2nd grade student at Springs’ Murrieta Student Center, is the February Student Artist of the Month. The Menifee resident’s picture is entitled, “Going to School in the Prehistoric Ages.”
Troy likes draw pictures of “people with super powers and anime characters.” He uses a pencil to sketch his drawings, and also crayons, colored pencils and markers. Besides art, he likes interacting with animals, playing baseball and video games, riding his scooter/skateboard with his dad, helping care for his baby sister, Penelope, and making new friends.
He likes attending the Murrieta Student Center, he said, “because everyone there helps me learn and grow a lot.” When he finishes school, he wants to work with animals, do coding and code his own game.
