Malikah Lemasters Tahir is a 1st-grade student with the Homeschool program. She said, “I like drawing faces, I like drawing stuff and seeing what it turns into as I draw, I like drawing my family.”
She likes being homeschooled, she said, because “homeschooling makes me smarter, my parents can teach me and Miss Heather, my ES, is awesome!” Besides drawing and painting, she likes dance, sewing, Spanish and creative crafts. When she grows up, she’d like to be a homeschool teacher.
