Springs Renaissance Valley Academy (RVA) Vice Principal reported that the school held an anti-vaping assembly for middle and high school students with Alexandra Swift from the San Diego County Department of Education.
She shared that vaping could cause cancer and other illnesses and can harm healthy development of neurological processes in young people. She also noted that e-cigarettes contained high levels of nicotine which can be addictive.
The assembly kicked off RVA’s Life Skills program which will continue in the fall.
