Superintendent Kathleen Hermsmeyer has recognized the Riverside Student Center as the top Springs school for ST Math progress, reported Jared McLeod, principal.
The Center’s Mosaic Academy students, he said, have been working hard this year towards the site goal of 100% completion of the program by every student K-8. Throughout the year, the Center has had a friendly class competition throughout the school. Mr. McLeod explained, “Classes are tracked on our giant football field and they move down the field towards the 100% touchdown marker. Classes are also rewarded in the form of a giant 4-foot tall Jiji penguin from the program for being the top class.
