Justin Ward, a senior with the Renaissance Real World Academy in Temecula, was selected as a Murrieta Valley Chamber of Commerce High School Student of the Month.
When recognizing him, the Chamber noted that the 17-year-old “has a drive and determination that is uncommon for young people his age. He is an outstanding student who has a positive influence on those around him.” Justin is in his 4th year with Springs. He chose Springs, he said, because of the smaller class sizes and “the greater opportunity that would be offered to me over a traditional high school.” He has taken both AP and dual enrollment classes.
The Chamber further noted, “His hard work and self-discipline are impressive and he sets high standards for himself. Justin has a heart for others and he volunteers at church and tutors other students. Justin is a quiet leader and a role model for his peers.” Justin’s favorite subject is history. Away from school he likes to play hockey. He plans to attend college and study business, and become a business owner.
