Cosimo Satalino, age 17, a Renaissance Real World Academy student, played guitar and sang at a fundraising dinner for the Murrieta Veterans Memorial at the home of California State Senator Jeff Stone on June 3.
“We were so excited when he signed the contract,” said Susan Satalino, Cosimo’s mother. “It was the first time he was paid to sing.” Cosimo began playing guitar at age 10. He’s performed in competitions, including the Boys & Girls Club Idol Season 7 and Temecula’s Got Talent. He performs classic rock and pop tunes. He hopes one day to be a professional singer, musician, and actor. Cosimo began attending Springs in the 7th grade, and it has worked out well. Susan said, “I can’t say enough good things about Springs. We love the program. It’s the best thing we could have done.”
