Seventh and 8th-grade students from the Otay Ranch Student Center held their Fall Art Expo which featured selections from the musical Hamilton, including dancing, songs and theatrical scenes.
Students also designed sets; 8th-grader Elsa Leon designed the art for the program and promotional posters.
The performance was enjoyed by parents and families. Diane Weinberger, the Otay Ranch Academy for the Arts’ (ORAA) new theater teacher who headed up this event with assistance from teachers and staff, remarked, “What an incredible show! It has been my honor to teach and direct this wonderful group of students. I am so proud!”
