Springs’ Otay Ranch Academy for the Arts teacher Tamra Santana’s 5/6th class took a field trip to the Birch Aquarium in La Jolla. They toured the exhibits and dissected mackerel.
Students in teacher Taylor Olson’s class worked as engineers, designing, creating, and building their own flying machines to fly south for the winter like the squirrels from the story, Those Darn Squirrels. They also took their first field trip to Santa Venetia Park.
