A new marine biology class is being offered for 11th and 12th graders with options for students to take the class in person or online. Marine Biology is a fourth-year science course that counts as a life science A-G and will explore all of the diverse creatures that live in the ocean and such non-living factors as waves, tides, and currents.
Find out the answers to such questions as: how are hurricanes produced and why do they rotate? What creatures live in the deep sea and how do they survive? What happens in our oceans when there are oil spills? Are whales more like fish or land mammals?
To sign up for the course, please contact your ES or counselor.
