Springs’ Magnolia Student Center “had an amazing assembly that was full of staff and student engagement for our 2nd-12th grade students (about 600 total),” reported Vice Principal Jamie Secoda Martinez.
The assembly was called “Drum Perks,” and was offered by Mobile Ed Productions. Program Facilitator Susie Carpenter explained, “Their focus is to discover the joy of teamwork through drumming. Effort + Respect + Focus = Teamwork.”
She added, “The kids loved it! It’s not too often an adult gives you a stick and encourages you to make as much noise as you like.”
