Rafael Ibarra, 16, an 11th grader with Springs’ Renaissance Real World High School Academy in Temecula, has begun an internship with Parallel 40 Productions, a video production company in San Diego.
The Wildomar resident has been attending Springs schools since 7th grade. His interests include history; he was one of three students named State Champion in the Junior Group Documentaries at the California National History Day Competition. He is also a Yearbook staff member and Athletic Videographer. His future goals include becoming a documentary filmmaker.
Jeremy Scherer, founder of and director of photography for the company, said, “We’re delighted to have a young man of Rafael’s caliber interning with our company. He brings many fine skills, and we are confident that he’ll have a bright future.”
