Springs Homeschool hosted its Temecula Regional Talent Show & Speech Meet, reported Nikki McAdoo. Students from all regional areas came together and shared a wide array of talents including dance, vocals, piano playing, and magic.
Five students participated in the Speech Meet: Arthor Hawkes, Abe Wilson, Suri & Soleil Sharma, and Adam Nawab. The Meet is an opportunity to share children’s literature and feature students’ abilities to interpret the literature in a verbal format for a community audience. Its purpose, explained Nikki, “is to help students develop communication skills and techniques to speak audibly, articulately, expressively, and with poise and confidence in audience situations.”
Four Citrus Springs students emceed. Nikki said, “They were so animated and dynamic and received a plethora of accolades from the audience.”
She added, “It was a spectacular show with quality talent and it was such an honor to spend the evening with wonderful homeschool families and staff.”
