Springs Homeschool student Agatha McIntyre was named a finalist in the senior performance category at the Riverside County National History Day Competition for her project The Ballad of Empress Matilda. She will now move on to the California State History Day competition.
Other students participating in the county competition included Ryann Sell, David De La Torre, Yamileth Paz, Macy De Jong, and Addison Lambeth. The competition was initially planned to be a live event on March 14, but was delayed a week and changed to a virtual competition at the onset of the pandemic.
