Springs Homeschool 6th grade student Maya Molina, 12, is an outstanding young gymnast. She has been involved with gymnastics for five years, and has advanced to an impressive Junior Olympic level 8.
Maya has competed in the Talent Opportunity Program, has won at Level 7 regionals and participated in a Developmental Invite Camp in Tennessee, training with the same coaches who coach the USA Gymnastics Women’s National Team.
Participation in Springs’ Homeschool program has given Maya the flexibility to pursue her passion of gymnastics. She hopes to go on to be a gymnast at UCLA and compete in the Olympics.
