Springs Homeschool students who achieved their mid-year ICAN! Mastery goals enjoyed an ice cream social and received ICAN! Incentive t-shirts. Over 700 students qualified.
Additionally, Homeschool students gathered for staff-facilitated reading, writing, and educational game rotation activities, engaging students to develop a love of reading and writing through gameplay. At the end of the day, students performed Reader’s Theatre skits and shared their Cereal Box Book reports with the audience.
Forty Homeschool students also participated in a Young Author’s writing competition, with nine selected by the Imagination Machine to be acted out at an assembly with an awards ceremony following.
