Springs’ Homeschool Education Specialists explored Core Values at their October professional development meeting, reported Tammy Jackson, Senior Director of Individualized Learning Programs, with a special focus on breast cancer awareness.
The staff participated in a “pink out,” as October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month, and shared information on how to donate to the Tammy Sanchez Scholarship through Summit Springs (Tammy was a Springs ES who passed away from cancer earlier this year.)
Kate Lynch was nominated by Laura Forberg as Camper of the Month, Ms. Jackson noted, “for going above and beyond for her families … We pack as much ‘Fun and Flexibility’ into each meeting and always enjoy our time together.”
