Springs’ Hemet Quest Student Center has begun converting a dance studio into a multi-purpose room (MPR). The space is “much needed,” reported Principal Eric Ballard, “as we do not have a spot for events or students to eat lunch when it rains or if it is too hot.”
Hemet Quest serves more than 600 TK-5 students with a five-day-a-week program. Enrollment is up from 530 last year. Eric continued, “Being able to hold events in the new MPR will help us make ongoing connections with parents and other members of our community.”
In other Hemet Quest news, the school staff had new turf installed, he reported, and a bench around a large oak tree for students and staff to enjoy.
