Flabob Airport Preparatory Academy (FAPA) senior Matthew Healy has been accepted to California Baptist University’s pre-aviation program with a scholarship of $12,500 per year. He plans to become a pilot.
Matthew joined FAPA in his sophomore year and is currently taking his 4th of five college-level aeronautics courses he plans to take before graduating from FAPA. He exemplifies the Springs learner outcome of Independent Learner, said Principal Robin Davis, and has been successful because he is persistent and dedicated to his education. She continued, “He is a representation of the FAPA students who join our program because they have an interest in a career in aviation.”
