Cruz Castro, a 10th-grade student with Connections Academy at Springs, is attempting to graduate high school two years early, reported Principal Laurie Campbell. He has been taking classes for extra credit in the 9th and 10th grades and has enrolled with Barstow Community College and a private online school to add additional classes he needs.
Cruz is looking forward to starting his college journey early, Laurie said, as well as devoting more time to his hobby, producing music.
