Sofie Dossi, 21, a self-taught contortionist, hand balancer, and aerialist, was a Springs Homeschool student. She has been a 2016 America’s God Talent finalist and has appeared on The Ellen Show. She is now a popular YouTuber with nearly seven million subscribers and over four million followers on Instagram.
Sofie was born in Cypress, and first joined Springs’ Homeschool program in the 2nd grade. Sofie’s career began with competitive gymnastics and dance, which led her to the world of aerials, contortion, and hand balancing. She studied videos of professional performers and began teaching herself.
In her career, she has performed at corporate events and private parties. She’s performed for the Grammy’s After Party, the Los Angeles County Fair, the Los Angeles Auto Show, and the Los Angeles City Council’s revival of Broadway theaters in downtown Los Angeles entitled Bring Back Broadway.
