Springs’ Montessori Voyage and Virtual Academy are busy preparing for the new school year, reported Lanise Goosby, Virtual Village principal. She said, “Our Montessori Voyage community is growing, and we are working hard this summer to ensure we are ready to welcome our students and families back in August.”
She noted that the program will be incorporating more hands-on Montessori materials in the fall, with students will receive learning tools to learn math such as golden beat sets, bead decanomials and decimal fraction boards (pictured).
Virtual Academy is ready to kick off for its second year, she added, with the school focusing on social growth and community. The academy will offer more field trips this year, and its 7th and 8th-grade students having more electives such as CTE Exploration and World Languages.
