Entertainment Work Permit: Please contact the Guidance Department at (951) 252-8833 or email: guidance@springscs.org if your student needs an Entertainment Work Permit.
WORK PERMIT REQUIREMENTS
Students aged 14 – 17 who are offered a paid job may receive a work permit. Eligibility requirements include:
- Grade Point Average is 2.0 or higher;
- Adequate progress toward graduation unit completion.
Work permit paperwork must be original, hard copies with wet signatures. Email/e-signatures are not allowed (Ed Code §§ 49110 & 49115).
PROCESS TO RECEIVE A WORK PERMIT
Once a student has been offered a paid job, they complete a Work Permit Application available to print: (CDE Form B1.1). The student’s information must match what is in the school’s information system.
With the completed application, make an appointment to meet with a Work Permit Coordinator – they are the only people certified to issue work permits at Springs Charter Schools.
WORK PERMIT COORDINATORS
Coordinators are not on campus full-time; please contact us to make an appointment.
