The Sound of Music Musical
This beloved classic takes the stage once again, enchanting audiences with its timeless story and captivating melodies. Set in Austria on the eve of World War II, we follow the journey of Maria, a spirited young woman with a passion for music, who is sent as a governess to the seven von Trapp children. Through her challenges with this broken family, Maria discovers the transformative power of love and music in the face of adversity. One of the most beloved musicals of all time, everyone is guaranteed to enjoy this epic story that brings to life the timeless story of love, courage, and the power of music.
Important Information:
- No late registrations or refunds will be processed after the closing date. No Exceptions
- Please allow time for parking. Recommend nearby parking at the Zoo, as there is usually plenty of parking in the back. From there, it is a 5-minute walk to the theatre.
- Special Guidelines: No use of membership passes.
- Recommended for All Ages! Please note: The Sound of Music takes place during the Nazi occupation of Austria. While this is not the primary focus of the show, the production does contain some themes and images about that subject matter.
- All Students must be accompanied by a registered adult.
- Note: If you have multiple Homeschool students, each Homeschool student must be registered for all Field Trips using their own designated flex fund account. Any duplicate orders for the same field trip on one student’s account will not be allowed.
