Julian Farm & Orchard

 A field trip to Julian Farm and Orchard offers an engaging and informative experience for students. This trip provides hands-on learning opportunities for students of all ages. Participants engage in activities like picking, exploring the orchard, and gaining insights into the farming process. The trip emphasizes experiential learning, enabling students to connect with nature, understand agricultural practices, and deepen their knowledge of the orchard ecosystem. Through interactive demonstrations and a guided tour, students develop an appreciation for farming, nature’s cycles, and the importance of sustainable agriculture.

Tour activities include:

  • Cider Press Lesson 
  • Petting Zoo
  • U-pick your choice of flowers or a small pumpkin
  • Hayride 

Additional field trip details: 

  • Toddlers (age three and under do not receive picked items) 

Important Information:

  • Program length: 3-hours
  • No late registrations or refunds will be processed after the closing date. No Exceptions
  • Special Guidelines: No use of membership passes
  • Space is limited, first come, first serve.
  • Students must be accompanied by a registered adult.
  • Note: If you have multiple Homeschool students, each Homeschool student must be registered for all Field Trips using their own designated flex fund account. Any duplicate orders for the same field trip on one student’s account will not be allowed.
  • Field Trip Photography Disclaimer: “Please be advised that photographs will be taken at this event for possible use on the SCS website, marketing materials, and/or all other SCS publications. Please inform the Field Trip Coordinator if you do not want your child to be photographed.
  • How to Cancel: Forward your registration confirmation email receipt to carmelina.rosales@springscs.org with a detailed notation to cancel by the deadline date indicated on each field trip.
