Disney’s YES! Disney’s Approach to Leadership & Teamwork

Learn from Walt Disney’s leadership strategies and apply them to achieve stronger collaboration skills, increase confidence and set a course for success.

Discover the Disney way of working and the management skills used to lead a Cast of thousands. Students in grades 6-12 will practice overcoming obstacles by working as a team and thinking creatively to develop solutions during this 3-hour program. Exercises designed to reinforce courage, curiosity and constancy aim to give students the confidence to set goals and accomplish their dreams.

During this interactive field study, students will:

  • Understand their personal leadership skills and how to apply them to a team setting
  • Discuss the importance of diversity
  • Brainstorm for creative ideas and solutions
  • Learn the importance of communication, trust, and problem-solving in a team setting
  • Apply different ideas to a project
  • Explore and approach a project from different perspectives
  • Gain the confidence to overcome obstacles
  • Find the courage and determination to accomplish goals and believe in their dreams
  • Lead a project to complete while maintaining a positive attitude
    All programs subject to availability. Program content, times, attractions and locations subject to change due to inclement weather, availability or group dynamics. Students must meet minimum age/grade requirement.

Important Information:

  • No late registrations or refunds will be processed after the closing date. No Exceptions
  • Special Guidelines: Program participation is limited; first serve basis. No use of membership passes can be used to participate on the program tour.
  • Students cannot use instructional funds if not participating on the program.
  • Due to the structure of the program, chaperon participation will be limited; no more than one adult per family. Additional adult guests purchasing tickets are encouraged to enjoy the park until the program is over .

  • Time: TBD, Program is approximately 3 hours
  • All Students must be accompanied by a registered adult through PayPal.
  • Note: If you have multiple Homeschool students, each Homeschool student must be registered for all Field Trips using their own designated flex fund account. Any duplicate orders for the same field trip on one student’s account will not be allowed.
  • Field Trip Photography Disclaimer: “Please be advised that photographs will be taken at this event for possible use on the SCS website, marketing materials, and/or all other SCS publications. If you do not want you or your child to be photographed please advise the Field Trip Coordinator.
  • How to Cancel: Forward your registration confirmation email receipt to field.trips@springscs.org with a detailed notation to cancel by the deadline date indicated on each field trip.
