CTE Pathway: Patient Care
High School Outreach Program
What an amazing opportunity for students interested in a career in the Healthcare field to join us at the prestigious UC Irvine Medical Center to take part in their High School Outreach Program.
During this program, students will have the opportunity to interact/lecture with world-renowned surgeons and medical device innovators. They will then transition to Surgical Education & Research Center where they will participate in:
Hands-On Surgical Skills Training:
- Robotic Skills
- Laparoscopic Skills
- Endoscopic Skills
- Ultrasound
- Open Suturing
After lunch, there will be evaluations and closing remarks before leaving the program.
Important Information:
- No late registrations or refunds will be processed after the closing date. No Exceptions
- Special Guidelines: Space is limited, first serve. Open to high school students only (strictly enforced). Drop off and pick up only.
- Note: If you have multiple Homeschool students, each Homeschool student must be registered for all Field Trips using their own designated flex fund account. Any duplicate orders for the same field trip on one student’s account will not be allowed.
- Field Trip Photography Disclaimer: “Please be advised that photographs will be taken at this event for possible use on the SCS website, marketing materials, and/or all other SCS publications. If you do not want you or your child to be photographed, please advise the Field Trip Coordinator.
- How to Cancel: Forward your registration confirmation email receipt to field.trips@springscs.org with a detailed notation to cancel by the deadline date indicated on each field trip.
