Academy Teacher
I have a BA in Theater with an emphasis in acting from CSUSB. I earned a clear secondary English credential and MA in learning and teaching from the University of Redlands. I have been teaching English and theater in the secondary classroom for 8 years.
I love reading and writing, of course! I also love cinema, including movies, TV series and documentaries. My other hobbies include making and listening to music, cycling, skateboarding, camping/hiking and gaming-both of the tabletop and video variety.
I love fantasy novels! The Wheel of Time series, The Witcher series, The Discworld series, anything by Jack Kerouac, and Elantris by Brandon Sanderson
I have always loved reading and writing, so English class I guess, but theater is a close second!
I have 5 children at home, including a HS graduate and a toddler. I worked in the bicycle industry for 6 years, and still ride often. All of my 4 siblings are teachers. I love the beach, but not boats (motion sickness), and have a small obsession with guitar effects pedals.
