Academy Teacher
I earned my Bachelor’s degree and teaching credential from Cal State University San Bernardino. From 2004 to 2007 I taught at Packinghouse Christian Academy. From 2007 to 2011 I owned and operated a tutoring business. In addition, I taught part-time K-3 grades at Forest Charter school. From 2011 to 2016 I worked part time at Inland Leaders Charter School. In April of 2016 I joined Springs as a Kindergarten teacher.
I love to spend time with my husband and two little boys. I also like to hang out with my large extended family. We all get along so well; it’s quite common that we get together and stay up late into the night just talking and laughing, or getting into deep discussions.
My other hobbies include reading, exercising, spending time with friends, and shopping.
As a child my all-time favorites were Anne of Green Gables, Little Women, and The Chronicles of Narnia. It’s so hard to choose a favorite now…but perhaps The Hiding Place, by Corrie ten Boom.
English and History
Although raised in California, I was actually born in Papua New Guinea.
