Academy Teacher
I received my Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Scranton in 2011. I received my Bachelor of Arts from California State University, San Bernardino in 1999. After graduating with my Bachelor, I immediately began working at CSU, San Bernardino for a non-profit organization, California Council on Economic Education. The mission of this organization was to train teachers how to teach economics to K-12th grade. The Executive Director, Dr. R.J. Charkins inspired me to become a teacher and to go back to school to earn my teaching credential from California State University, San Bernardino. The 2013-2014 school year is my tenth year with Springs Charter School. Prior to joining the staff at Springs, I worked at a charter school in Riverside for two years. My time with Springs has been very exciting, inspirational, and rewarding.
