I have my Bachelors Degree as well as my California Emergency Teaching Credential. I have also had three years of training in Elementary Multi-Age Classrooms. I am currently applying to Masters Programs in School Counseling.
I love all things SPORTS!! My favorite sport is probably Rugby because both of my daughters play in college. I love to hike, spend time in nature, cook homemade meals and bake for my loved ones. I also love to travel and experience different cultures.
When I was in Elementary School my favorite book was Island of the Blue Dolphins by Scott O’Dell. As an adult my favorite book would be Love in the Time of Cholera by Gabriel Garcia Marquez.
Because of my amazing High School English Teacher, Connie O’Connor my favorite subject went from PE to Language Arts and Creative Writing. Wonderful Teachers really do change lives!
I have two daughters that are in college. My oldest is a Senior at UC Berkeley and my youngest is a Freshmen at Dartmouth College. Our family has three dogs, one of which is an amputee that we rescued, his name is Skippy. I still have my childhood record player and a really eclectic collection of old records. I had the privilege of watching a Haka performed by Maori in New Zealand, it changed my soul and is still an all time favorite lifetime memory. My favorite flower scent is Heliotrope. Green Gummy Bears are my favorite flavor. I have three birthmarks, one is white, one is brown and one is red!
