I have served in education for the past 19 years, primarily at the secondary level as an English teacher, basketball coach, TOSA, and Assistant Principal, but most recently at a K-8 school. I hold a B.A. in English: Literature with Honors from California
I enjoy golfing, hiking, traveling, and spending time with my family and friends. I have been married to my wife, Heidi, for 26 years and have two grown daughters, Kirsten and Ashley, both of whom are completing their college degrees this year!
As a lover of English, I have a hard time picking. Still, if I had to pick two, I enjoyed teaching Night by Elie Wiesel, and my favorite educational motivational book is Relentless by Hamish Brewer.
Of course, I love English and enjoyed studying History in high school and college. It was a high school English teacher who influenced me when reading Shakespeare to eventually pick English as a major when I returned to college after my private industry c
The youngest of six became a dual citizen of Canada/USA at the age of 16.
