Biography:

With an extensive background of over 20 years in the business world as Quality Assurance Supervisor at the Van Can Company, San Diego, CA, Pam brings the supervisory skills she acquired there to Harbor Springs Charter School’s mission of preparing students to become productive members of society. Her interest to instill a strong work ethic, a love of learning, and the “people skills” of working together, strengthen the Charter School’s program of educating the whole person. In 1996, Pam opted out of the work force to raise her two children. Her experiences as homemaker, and the wide variety of insights she acquired in her volunteer duties as Room Mom in her children’s school and as Team Mom/Helper in their sports activities, have given her a fresh, broad approach to the responsibilities and qualifications demanded by the position of assisting the Harbor Springs Charter School Governing Board.
