Homeschool Collaborative Teacher
I graduated from Cal State San Marcos with a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies and a multiple subject teaching credential. I began teaching in 2007 and over the years have taught in traditional public schools and charter schools across the grades TK-8.
I enjoy jogging, going to the beach, tent camping with my family, and trying new recipes at home.
My all time favorite author is Agatha Christie, and my favorite modern book is Remarkably Bright Creatures by Shelby Van Pelt. I also enjoy rereading the Narnia and Harry Potter series.
I have always favored science, particularly biology and oceanography.
When I was growing up I wanted to be a lawyer. But while in community college I took a class, “Math for Elementary Teachers” because I thought it would be an easy A. I loved it so much I changed my degree path to teaching!
