Michelle Sapanara

Assistant Superintendent, Student Services

Education

After earning my BA in Political Science with an emphasis on International Relations, I earned my Master’s in Education in Cross Cultural Education. I taught in grades 6-12 and served as school site Principal. I have spent the last nine years as a Student Services Administrator.

Favorite Hobbies

My first love is reading. We love to camp around California. I attend a lot of live sporting events including National Women’s Soccer League games for both the San Diego Wave FC and the Angel City FC, the San Diego Padres, and an annual trip to see my Buffalo Bills.

Favorite Books

Between reading my education improvement, reform, and policy book I love my beach reads and my whodunits. My favorite authors are Stuart Woods, Janet Evanovich, Robert B. Parker, and I just started reading Taylor Jenkins Reid’s novels.

Favorite Subject

I love teaching US Government and Economics, but in school I adored Math.

Fun Facts

I love interior design, fashion, and if you have a book club, sign me up!
