Vice Principal
I graduated with my bachelors from San Diego State University and graduate courses at University of Phoenix. Between 2003- 2017, I taught Kindergarten and fourth grade at Aspen Elementary School and Technology at Basalt Elementary School. I have been an IMPACT Teacher at Imperial Beach Charter School. I have been teaching at O.R.A.A. since it opened in 2014.
I enjoy running outside in San Diego´s beautiful weather. Pilates has become a part of my weekly routine as well. Cooking and baking is a form of stress relief for me. I love trying new healthy recipes that are gluten-free and dairy-free, like me. Spending time with my two kids brings me great joy!
I love to read. I enjoy a good piece of fiction that transports me to a specific time and place and allows us to get lost in the complex plot.
I have always enjoyed math. I can solve mathematical problems in many different ways. It is fun to find new and different ways to solve a problem.
I love being outdoors! My kids and I go to the beach regularly. We have boogie boarding contests! We love to take walks, hike, kayak, bike…explore!
I love to dance! I have danced tap, jazz, ballet, clogging, modern, etc… since I was 10 years old. I love a good beat!
