Senior Director of Academies
I have been in the Education field for over 27 years. I hold teaching credentials in Arkansas, California, and Texas. I have taught drama, speech, and English in Public, Private, and Charter Schools. At Springs I have been a teacher, lead teacher, Director of Academy Support, and Principal, and now am a Senior Director supporting our 17 principals in locations all over Southern California. I hold a clear Administrative Credential. I also have a Masters in Liberal Arts and Sciences and a Bachelor of Science In Education. I am an advocate for students, parents, and teachers. It is my philosophy that when you believe in all individuals they in turn will strive to do their very best.
I love to spend time with my family and read. I have had a goal to read over 100 books each year and have met that goal for 2 years and counting!! I am happy playing pickleball, and shopping for great deals!
I love to explore bookstores and find a new amazing read. I love Brené Brown and one of my favorite fiction authors is Fredrik Backman.
My favorite subjects in school (I can’t just pick one!) creative writing, psychology, and Drama.
I have a daughter in college and a son in high school. I am left-handed. I was in a movie and had a speaking part!
