Curriculum Specialist TK-8
I have a BA in Behavioral Science and a MS in Clinical Psychology. I finished my teaching credential in 2003 and have worked with all grade levels from Kindergarten through 6th grade. I have worked at the Magnolia Student Center for 5 years teaching grades 4-6 and I have also served as the site’s RTI Coordinator for the past 2 years. This year, I am going to be working as a TOSA (Teacher on Special Assignment) so that I can focus more time on the RTI program and help with other areas of need that the school may have. I am looking forward to the new adventure!
I love to read, read, read! I also love making photo books for my family.
I read psychological thrillers/murder mysteries for me leisure reading and I also enjoy reading books that pertain to education; classroom management, different instructional styles, new curriculum, etc. I am always trying to find something better!
Language Arts was always my favorite subject in school! I have always had a love for reading and writing!
I have been married for 10 years.
I have 3 boys!! They are 8, 6 and 1.
I grew up with 3 brothers.
