Biography:

James is a husband to a loving and dedicated wife and father of two sweet children. While James’ wife had the opportunity to experience homeschooling as a child, he attended an all boy’s parochial boarding school (with suits, ties, and church 5 times a day in Latin), similar to the movie, “The Dead Poet’s Society.” This experience had a deep impact on his view on the importance of education, however, distanced himself from his family. James and his wife decided early-on that they would create an environment conducive to education and family values and River Springs Charter School provides the perfect marriage of those ideals. James is a Business analyst by trade, focusing on digital marketing, internal process insight, and expense reduction. Over the last 20 years, he has dedicated himself to the personal study of ancient societies, symbology, philosophy, theology, and religious studies, and in his free time teaches these subjects in academic circles in Orange County and Long Beach, California, and Santa Fe, NM. He is currently researching the Shamanic relationships between indigenous tribes of the Americas and ancient Nordic regions, specifically belief systems and medicine. He serves on several 503(c) boards who’s sole purpose is the provision of diagnostic and therapeutic services to children from 2-16 years of age who exhibit a wide range of speech, language, and learning challenges. James is currently pursuing his MA in Clinical Psychology with emphasis on earning MFT & PCC licenses. He aspires to earn his PsyD and hopes to author modalities using ancient systems to address modern problems in the field of psychology.
