Homeschool Collaborative Teacher
I have been a classroom teacher in various grades in K-12 in both private and public schools, and I homeschooled my own children from grades 1-12. I have a Bachelor’s, a Master’s, and a California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential.
I love paper crafting, gardening, taking walks in beautiful places, spending time with my husband and three daughters, traveling, and reading new books. I love spending time in cozy coffee shops with a good cup of tea either reading or journaling.
My favorites are the In the Shelter of Each Other by Mary Pipher as well as the Harry Potter series. I also love the children’s picture books Leo the Late Bloomer, Miss Rumphius, and Snow Song Whistling.
I loved language arts, science, and art!
I have three rescue dogs, a bunny, and three backyard chickens. I have traveled twice to Ethiopia to adopt two of my children, and I traveled all over Europe as a teenager. I was born and raised in Northern California but have lived in Boston, Massachusetts, Colorado, and Ohio as an adult. One of my favorite places to visit are botanical gardens where I like to learn the names of new plants. A warm cup of tea is one of my favorite drinks!
