Long Term Substitute Teacher
I received my bachelor’s degree in Child Development and my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from National University. I have been teaching for 23 years, with my last four years here at River Springs!
I love to be with my family and out in nature. Hiking, biking, and yoga are a few of my favorite things to do. I also love to travel to new places, read, garden, bake, and be creative.
My most recent favorites are “Wish You Were Here,” by Jodi Picoult and “The Twilight Wife,” by A.J. Banner. I love “The Sneetches” by Dr. Seuss, “The Days the Crayons Quit” by Drew Daywalt, and anything by Patricia Polacco.
My favorite subject when I was a student was math.
I have five children, and I am a Grammy! Two of my daughters are also teachers. I love butterflies, the season of fall, and I went to Ghana to work with other teachers, which was an amazing experience!
