* Graduated from UC Berkeley in 1986 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Zoology.
* Obtained my Biological Sciences Teaching Credential from Chapman University in 1996
* Worked in biomedical research at the Stanford Research Institute (SRI International), the Stanford Medical Center, and Syntex Pharmaceuticals.
* Served as Education Coordinator for the Grassland Environmental Education Center in Los Banos.
* Served as GATE Coordinator for the Los Banos Unified School District.
* Have taught in every level from preschool through college.
* Riding my Harley.
* Performing in musical theater productions.
* Water sports (SCUBA diving, kayaking, hanging out at the beach).

* One of my first jobs was performing as Ted E. Bear, tap dancing while wearing a giant bear suit.

* My father works for NASA and once let me wear the helmet of a space suit that now hangs in the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum.
