Education

I graduated from Chico State University in 1994 with a liberal studies major and a child development minor. I then received my teaching credential from Cal State Fullerton in 1995. A few months later I began teaching in Fontana Unified School district where I taught 2nd grade for 4 years. I then transferred to Chino Unified where I taught 3rd and 4th grade for two years. After becoming a mommy to two girls I decided to take three years off and stay home with my girls. In 2004, I was hired at Springs Charter Schools and am now in my 10th year as an ES!

Favorite Hobbies

I enjoy being with my family most of all. I also enjoy shopping, eating out, and watching my girls play softball and soccer.

Favorite Books

I enjoy reading about horses (since I know very little about them and we now own one), historical fiction, the Hunger Games series, romance novels, and fiction.

Favorite Subject

My favorite subject in school is math!

Fun Facts

A few fun facts about me:
I have run a 1/2 marathon.
I have been zip lining through the mountains.
I have jumped out of an airplaine.
We recently became the owners of a 17 hand Thoroughbred which is a whole new experience for us.
