Springs Homeschool students Ashley and Alyssa Farrell, ages 11 and 9, have been studying American Sign Language (ASL) for three years and have signed the National Anthem at many high profile venues, including before professional sports games at Staples Center and StubHub Center, and at bodybuilding competitions at Muscle Beach in Venice. Fifteen-year-old Springs student Zachary Traylor is an accomplished gymnast. He is preparing for the Black Jack Invitational in Las Vegas, February 18-22, which draws more than 70 teams from all over the U.S. It is one of six competitions in which he’ll participate in 2015. Continue reading
