Journey Teacher to Make Presentation to Historian Group
I am continually impressed by and grateful for the many outstanding teachers we employ at Springs! One I’d like to highlight this month is Journey teacher Scott White, who will discuss “Hiroshima and the Birth of the Perilous Present: How the Atomic Bombing Set the Stakes for Modern Global Threats” at the Pacific Coast Branch of the American Historical Association (PCB-AHA) on July 31. Scott has been working on his Master’s degree in history and will discuss the purpose and outcome of his research.

Scott shared that presenting to the PCB-AHA will be “a professional milestone that goes beyond the requirements of my graduate studies.”
He added, “This national academic conference brings together scholars from across the country to share original research, making it a meaningful opportunity to contribute to broader historical conversations at a professional level.”

This is a most impressive accomplishment, Scott, and we hope you have a very successful presentation! We’re also grateful for having you educating our students!

I hope all our Springs families are enjoying their summer. Please follow our Springs social media for the latest Springs news; especially check out our Springs YouTube page to see some of our latest videos.
