Springs Venture Online sophomore Leonardo Lopez aspires to be a commercial pilot. He started his aviation career at age 8 taking simulator classes and today flies alongside instructors. He is a member of the Civilian Air Patrol and has the rank of Cadet Airman First Class.
He also enjoys 125cc shifter go-kart racing. He credits Venture Online with allowing him the flexibility to pursue these extracurricular interests.

Another Venture Online student, 2nd grader Penelope Greek, has a passion for motorcycle riding. She practices daily on a track in her backyard and hopes one day to compete professionally. Being part of the Venture Online program is also key in giving Penelope the opportunity to pursue her interests.
