Two hundred 6-8th grade students in River Springs Charter School’s Temecula Student Center participated in a Hunger Games Food Drive, collecting 591 non-perishable food items which were donated to the needy. Six classes were divided by gender to form 12 Districts, similar to The Hunger Games series, which competed to see who could collect the most food. District 12 took first, collecting 144 items.
