Ciana Quiza is a 10th-grade student with the Journey program who maintains a 4.0 GPA and is a gifted young golfer. She maintains a handicap of 1.6+ and competes with multiple tournament organizations. Her best finish in the past season was at the AJGA Stealth Junior All-Star Qualifier during which she shot a score of +3 (75) to place 7th in the qualifying tournament.
Ciana works well with everyone, reports her ES Cindy Lasch, attending SOS and homeroom meetings during which she “builds positive relationships.” She lives in a military household and aspires to have a career in psychology. In 9th grade, she completed her CTE Pathway for Human Development and is now looking towards completing her internship.
Ciana said, “Working with Journey teachers, I clearly understand the lessons and have developed a connection that will stick with me throughout my academic career.”
