Join us at the San Diego Safari Park, where students become wildlife detectives during this self-guided visit to the park. Explore and discover amazing animals from all over the world interacting in an environment that is natural to their habitat of the wild. You will learn about efforts to conserve local wildlife and their habitats as you gather unique insights about the environment from coast to desert by reading the interpretive materials around the park.
Envision yourself following a backcountry road shaded by eucalyptus trees, with brilliant red bottlebrush blooms waving to you in the breeze. Follow the zoo’s path as you are transported down under to walk among kangaroos and wallabies, wonder at cassowaries, and more—this is San Diego Zoo Safari Park Walkabout Australia!
