Springs Bear River Student Center remembered the 20th anniversary of 9-11 by observing “Patriots Day.” Activities included a flag raising, patriotic class photos and campus decorating in red, white and blue.
In other Bear River news, the school is raising money for campus improvements. The next fundraiser is Wednesday, October 27. Buy food at the Chipotle Mexican Grill in Menifee between 4 and 8 p.m., and a portion of your purchase will be donated to the Bear River Student Center.
The school serves 650 students grades TK-8.
